About Me
I’ve been working in the field of social work since 2001, serving diverse communities, including LGBTQIA+ healthcare, affordable housing, and hospital-based crisis support. While earning my Master’s in Social Work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, I focused on social justice—a foundation that informs my clinical approach today. With over a decade of experience as a therapist, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and families, helping them find resilience and growth in times of challenge.

As a therapist, I specialize in trauma, attachment issues, dissociative disorders, and relational dynamics. I have received extensive post-graduate training in Attachment-Focused EMDR, PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy, Level 2), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and Approved Consultant through EMDRIA.

I also offer clinical consultation for independently licensed therapists, with a focus on supporting trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and relational therapy.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is non-judgmental, compassionate, and deeply attuned to each individual or couple’s unique needs. I believe that therapy should be a space for exploration and healing, where clients feel safe to uncover and address what holds them back. My goal is to support you as you navigate your personal journey at your own pace, guiding you toward insight and healing.

I work with a wide range of clients, including therapists, trauma survivors, and first responders. I understand how challenging it can be to break free from ingrained patterns of thought and behavior, and I’m here to guide you through that process.

As a psychodynamically oriented therapist, I work relationally and directively to help you explore deeper parts of yourself. My training and experience also allow me to approach your healing in a somatic and trauma-informed way, integrating techniques like EMDR to release long-held emotional and physical responses.

Having benefited greatly from mentors, teachers, and therapists throughout my own journey, I am dedicated to understanding you in the context of your unique experiences—racial, cultural, generational, and historical. I am attuned to the subtle ways past and present circumstances can affect your sense of safety, authenticity, and wholeness.

I believe that the way we approach ourselves and our challenges will never be "perfect." Our work together will focus on deepening your understanding of the lens through which you view yourself and your world, ultimately leading to a greater sense of ease, fulfillment, and self-compassion.
